What Pluck stores
Pluck stores the information needed to run the service: company settings, users,
inventory, orders, warehouses, labels, uploaded files, reports, audit history, contact
messages, and bug-report details when someone chooses to send them.
How that information is used
We use company information to operate Pluck, protect accounts, enforce permissions,
troubleshoot issues, maintain backups, send important service messages, and improve the
workflows your company uses.
What Pluck does not do
We do not sell your information. We do not collect arbitrary telemetry just because we
can. We collect operational data that the app needs to function, diagnostics that help
explain failures, and preferences that make the interface behave the way you asked it to
behave.
Cookies and preferences
Required cookies keep sign-in and security working. Optional local preferences remember
interface choices such as theme, table layout, and other convenience settings. Cookie
preferences can be reopened from the footer.
Support access
Your company controls who it invites into its workspace and what those users can access.
Pluck staff may access account data when needed to provide support, investigate a
problem, maintain the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect Pluck and its
customers.
Backups and account closure
If your company leaves Pluck, we may retain backups, audit records, and archive files for
a reasonable period so mistakes can be recovered and legal or security obligations can be
handled. A full purge is treated carefully because customer data should not disappear by
accident.
Terms of use
Allowed use
Pluck Inventory is built for rental inventory, order planning, warehouse operations,
maintenance, labels, reports, and the day-to-day work that supports those jobs. You may
use Pluck for lawful business purposes only.
Company responsibility
Your company is responsible for the records it creates, the people it gives access to,
the prices it quotes, the inventory decisions it makes, and the rules that apply to its
own business.
Account security
You agree not to share passwords, bypass permissions, scrape or probe the service, upload
malicious files, disrupt another customer, or use Pluck in a way that would harm the
platform. If something looks wrong, tell us. If you need access changed, work through
your company owner or administrator.
Product changes
Pluck will change over time. We may add features, rename workflows, remove experiments,
fix bugs, change limits, and improve security. When normal users will feel a change, we
try to keep release notes and help content current so nobody has to guess what moved.
Third-party notices
Pluck uses open-source and third-party software to provide the web app, backend services,
data storage, printing, labels, email, payments, browser testing, and build tooling. Those
tools are used under their applicable licenses or service terms. Supporting libraries and
services are used for focused jobs such as QR and barcode rendering, image handling,
PDF/manual storage, email delivery, payment processing, and test automation.
Using Pluck does not transfer ownership of your company data to us. It gives Pluck the
permission needed to host, process, back up, troubleshoot, and display that data as part of
the service.
